Sorry I don't have any information other that not being able to find their website this morning, but from what I have read here it's not looking good. Loads of people have ordered items, including myself :( but never received them. At least some managed to get their money back and my paypal transfer has not been cleard yet so I have cancellled with both my bank and notified paypal of the same. Stay clear :? no one likes to be conned.

It looks like the site might be down for good. I think it's fair to say it was a scam for sure.

If you paid through PayPal definitely open up a dispute and try to get your money back!

Get paypal to refund your money back immediately ! Might now be too late. Just try. If you are lucky you might get your refund within a day or so. Just escalate your paypal dispute to a claim immediately.

Despite some misgivings I ordered an ipod Video from Hyper Hardware. I live in the UK and was told by email that it would take 5 days to reach me. 10 days later, no responses to my emails, fax or telephone message. Website been unavailable for the last 3 days at least.

PayPal have been helpful and suggested a number of things I can do, although as I purchased from a website and not an item on Ebay, I will not get a refund from them, although possibly a "Best Effort" payment (maybe about £15-20?). I have filed and dispute and raised a claim through them. I also did a dummy run payment to see if I could get any further feedback, however the PayPal page came back with the message " This recipient is currently unable to receive money" (Likely because of a number of disputes being raised through Pay Pal and they have blocked this route.

I have certainly learnt the hard way that too good a bargain is TOO GOOD! Also not to be taken in by all the seemingly strong looking guarantees on any website (eg PayPal Verified, D&B - Decide with confidence, listed with DnB.com, and some ISO 9001-2000 certification)

On PayPal's suggestion I did contact my Credit Card provider and they will appparently refund my payment after I provide them with various details (still awaiting their form) So, hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel........

PS - Does anyone know anything about DnB.com - they do list Hyper Hardware on their website, but you have to pay $100+ for a report on the company - I don't think so!!!!

Sorry if I sound like an idiot but I'm relatively new to this whole scamming thing. Ive made many successful deals over the internet and kinda went in too strong this time and I may be out about 3000 from this company. I initially was getting good correspondence through email and telephone from this company, however all of this stopped after my wire transfer was sent. The site is still up and I placed an order under a fake name to see if that new person would get a response but so far nothing...
Is there anything I can do to try to reverse this wire transfer and get my money back if this isnt legit? I have received several calls and emails from Edy Alen at first but now nothing although I have a bank account information and a telephone number (I cant seem to get through) and address. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I have fallen into the same trap you have. We sent these guys money on the 7th of July and have not gotten any responses from the 10 or so emails we have sent since.
Have you any new information since you posted this? Can you give us any new advise as to what you might have done or even if you finally received communication from these guys?
Finally, we got to them through a link from the Technology & Gadgets page at MSN where they are said to be "Sponsors" of that site for MSN. Is that how you found them? If so have you notified MSN?
Your information is greatly appricated.

I recommend contacting your bank. I called mine after reading these postings and they said they would refund my money in 3 to 5 days. They would investigate through a 3rd party dispute company. Given all the info here, I'm guessing most of those dispute companies know about this scam already.
