When I get an email from one of these scammers I get tired of just ignoring them. IT never stops. So I would like to respond with a little more than cursing them out!! Is there any software available that can be used to make their life miserable (possibley a virus or worm) that would get into their computers and "ruin"their day? Tired of having my privacy and email account at their mercy EVERYDAY!!!!!!!!!!

It's a good idea in theory, however, you then risk infecting other peoples (innocent people) computers as well. The best form of revenge is to make it so they do not get any money and the best way to do that is to educate as many people as you possibly can about the different scams. Nothing will hurt these people more than to actually have to go out and work for a living.

A virus is a bad idea. Innocent people can get hurt. There are other ways to "bait" scammers. Here is a nice tips page:

Aloha: instead of revenge what about reporting them? There are several places you can report them:
1. ic3.gov
2. spam@uce.gov
3. every e-mail has a support or security team that you can report things to.
You can pick your choice for the kind of e-mails you get. Take care and no sense getting a heart attack from anger from scammers-okay?
Take care. I feel frustrated when I get those kinds of e-mails too. Some of them say I've inherited a big sum of money which isn't true of course and it's a waste of time especially like me I use a public library computer. You could help the FBI catch some bad ones that are out to hurt many.
