As you can see, these people have perfected the craft of scamming. If anyone has a similar situation, please let me know.

I have the same situation. I posted an ad on a local website in Saudi Arabia, and got same sort of emails as you, guy saying to ship it to nigeria. Below is the usps payment notification I just recieved, I did't know how to verify it, so I search the net, and found your entry:

Both of you have fraudulant emails. They do this because they know it's "tempting" to the seller and they put a rush on it because they know it will come back as a fraudulant money order. The only place you can get a legit postal money order is from the USPS. If you are not given the option to make sure it's legit by verifying it with the USPS then don't accept the money order and move on to the next buyer as that's a big red flag. The only way to make sure you have a legit check/money order is to "wait" for it to clear. If they don't want to wait then don't sell it to them. You'll be the one who gets hurt in the end not them. Better to wait and be safe than sorry by moving too quickly. Even better would be to turn them down and not deal with it at all. I personally will not deal with anyone outside of the country. Been there, done that and learned from it.

Do not deposit any Postal Money Order, you have no idea when it actually clears, we have had them returned 2 months later. Take your Postal Money Order to the Post Office and cash it there.

do we have to wait until we get the money order from them and then send out the money to them ?
