Seeing as how there are companies such as jobsindubai.com, who cheat people out of their money as was wondering if anyone can recommend a credible recruitment agency for UAE or Qatar? If it helps, I am looking for a job in the health care field/industry. I would appreciate any response, or suggestions as to what the best practice is for finding work in UAE or Qatar?

Tanks,

I am also a register member of Jobs in Dubai Inc. and after reading all of you guyz comments, I thought to give them a call and talk to them. So two days back I did personally called at the head office of Jobs in Dubai which is in Canada, Mississauga near to some famous city called Toronto. I talk to one of the Account Manager….can not remember the Name for now but any ways after a long discussion on the phone, I got to know, how their process works. First I was thinking the amount which is had paid is for a particular position which I applied for almost 3 weeks ago. But that wasn’t a case. The fee is for to become a register member with them. They have created my online profile and that what account manager told me, that my profile is available to the employers who currently recruiting for Dubai. Now if employer will like my profile or my resume, he will contact me directly. I think, there will be a lot of candidates who are applying for one position. So I guess it’s all our luck and we have to be little patients about finding a job in Dubai. Hey!! No worries!!! What so ever it is, if I will not get a job, till next six months, I can always apply for a refund and I will get my money back!!!!…..again guys its all your own luck. And I guess we should stop blaming the other companies. Companies out there can not do a fake business, especially country like Canada or Dubai….

I just wanted to express my concerns about your Bayt.com - I saw a position on their site and the employer was Al Ghurair which is a very well know family and a good company to work for in Dubai . After I applied for the Finance Managers position I had to go through the registration process, I guess like every one does. But this process did it take 2 months before I got any kind of feed back, I was also asked to pay $239.00 in order to Get a "WoW CV" because the representative at Bayt.com told me that if I needed that job faster, this would be the price to pay, WoW indeed... I just believe this is as good as charging someone for a job, its more like, you dish out 880 AED and we can get you this job. Especially because the resume that I got from Bayt.com was something I could have done with some Google search copy / paste and produced in 10 minutes. That was not my resume, and those were not my skills.

I never got any kind of feed back from Bayt.com, even though I repeatedly emailed and called them. Now I have a resume that I paid 880AED for and the representative is not responding to my emails. I wish there were some organization I could go to and report this kind of treatment very unethical and misleading to what their website claims are. I am a U.K. citizen and I believe one should not pay for anything especially when we are looking out for a job, just like how it is back home.

I am wondering if this is happening to any other individuals out there who are looking for work. I do understand some online company's do charge some sort of a fee to provide some sort of a service that only makes my chances of getting a job better. I also believe this fee is paid at our own free will because we choose to register with them. But I do not believe an organization like Bayt.com should black mail a candidate and lure them to purchase their CV builder to get for a job. Just so you know, I am not the only one, I have gone through forums on Bayt.com being a scam, I have my friends who faced similar problems. I need advice, I need legal advice.

Seems like Bayt.com are just selling over-priced CV's, with the claim that
this will get you the job you are after. If you already have a CV you are with, don't pay for another one. Any agency that claims you must buy a CV from them in order to for your details to be passed onto a prospective employer is on the make.

I don't know about your experience, but Bayt.com does not promise a job for the CV enhancement services. They are a legitimate business with 12 offices in the region. I know personally 7 people placed through them.

Charging on CV edits are completely legal and all respectful careersites ( check yahoo hotjobs ) do this.

Don't bad mouth any one without any proof. You work in Media City, and it is 2 buildings away from Bayt.com. Speak to DIC about this and make sure that you can support what you say (which I totally doubt).

By the way Bayt.com has a long list of testemonials with "Full names" I advise every body to verify this and it will soon be clear it is the best recruitment company in the whole middle east and the Arab country.

I hope the Forum adminstrator does not allow such false accusations being posted against legitimate organizations.

Yes, I guess “Serenataha” people are not stupid and they can see it. I am not trying to argue with you but the way you wrote it, it perfectly sounds like that you are from Bayt.com or one of their employees or could be boss. I just posted the people experience which I found it on another web-stie. Search on internet again and find something about bayt.com too :P, if you are not linked with Bayt.com I am sure you will get something worse then this as you post a link and trying put http://www.jobsindubai.com down. I can find you a thousand links in which people are telling their bad experience about bayt.com and one of the examples I posted it already. I have a good experience with http://www.jobsindubai.com and that’s all what I want to share it with other people too.

Jobsindubai IS A SCAM

It is ILLEGAL for companies in the UAE to take money from the job seeker, which is EXACTLY what jobsindubai do.

Don't believe they are a scam ? Read their policy -->
http://www.jobsindubai.com/refund_info.asp
... Please note that refunds may NOT be issued before 6 months of being registered ...

What ? Why the hell not ? The reason is simple, let me explain :

You as the jobseeker go to Jobsindubai and pay them money. They now have cash that they can invest for 6 months. 6 month later when you do demand your money back they would have already made a profit off of you.

Let me make this more graphical ...

50,000 people pay $50 to Jobsindubai, that's a total of $2,500,000
let's say they gain 5% interest per month on $2,500,000
that's $125,000 per month
and $750,000 after 6 month !

Even if they do pay everyone back they would have already made $750,000 (~ 2,754,750 AED) !! !!

YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO FIND A JOB - SO DON'T

No other job finding service in Dubai take money before they find you a job because it is a CRIME TO DO SO !!!

Hello "Achi"

Nice calculation, well at least we all can tell that you are good in maths, but not that good. Why don’t you do some more research on other companies too and give us some explained calculation?

How about http://www.dubaijobs.net ? Who charge the money and did not ever refund your money, what about them? I am sure you are some other company agent who is trying to put http://www.jobsindubai.com down.

At least http://www.jobsindubai.com takes you money and refunds it to you if they can not find you a job. Which I think is quite reasonable to do.

I am a 8-10 year experienced software engineer and I still regret to register in jobsindubai.com due to the reason that I was not even been send a single email despite of being registering with the company for 6 months and being added by their 38 so called 'employers'. On asking for refund the company just come up with lame excuses. On the other hand sites like monster.com and rozee.pk are free for their employees and I got many interview phone calls and emails from these companies. Jobsindubai.com is a real scam and nothing else! Proved!!!

This website Jobsindubai is a huge scam. After 6 months of applying for jobs listed there I received zero feedback. Other free sites are a much better source for Middle East positions. I have been trying to get a refund that they state is no problem after 6 months. Well, after calling them, filling out the "refund form" etc . Having them tell me my refund would take 4-6 weeks to process it has now been over 10 weeks, no refund. they "promised me I would have it last week, then I call them Friday and they tell me it will be processeed on Monday , it is now Tuesday and yes once again no refund. The scam artist just feed you a line a bs and nothing ever happens. Stay as far away from this "company" as possible and never ever give them a dime. they are a b7unch of losers who need to be shot. I wish someone would make an appointment at the Canadian office then when they show up beat the crap out of them for me. At least this way i would have some satisfaction and no I do not work for any recruitment agency I am just pissed off that these a-holes have my money!!!!!
