I lost a cell phone and posted a query on Craigslist. Got a reply from "Gary Williams" who said he had it. He said he couldn't meet in person and but could return it if he got a reward. The next email was about him being in the UK getting his masters degree and that I should call him at this number, +44 702 403 2215 to "work something out." The emails sounded like they were from two different people and had poor/strange grammar. Definitely a scam as he would never answer my questions and confirm any details that it was indeed my phone. Watch out for this email address, garywilliams_196701@yahoo.com. |
