:x Hello!

I just signed up today. I am not sure if my story fits anywhere in this website but I will give it a try. I am one of those people who is ultra careful about scammers. Phone, email, internet etc has never gotten past me. And I have always made it a practice to never ever loan money. But recently we took on a respite care provider for our autistic children.
She is one of those who never ever has any money. She kept asking to borrow to now where it has gotten up to over 700.00. We felt bad for her and gave it to her on the understanding that she would pay it back as soon as she got her first paycheck from the agency who employs her. She vehemently agreed (naturally). So far she has not paid it back. She was supposed to pay us five days ago and we haven't heard from her. I am so angry more with myself. I need that money back. I intend to file a charge against her with her agency. I am also hoping maybe they can garnish her paycheck...but that will be hard to do since we never got anything in writing from her. If I see her this weekend (if she actually shows up for work) I am going to tell her she has to sign a document showing she took this money. Any advice would be really appreciated. And don't worry this won't happen again.... EVER!
