Would I get in trouble if I set up a fake gmail account, subscribed to tons of free email deliveries such as lotteries, horoscopes, news feeds etc (to flood my fake account), then forward all this (can be set up automatically in gmail) to any scam site's email address?

This would at least flood their email servers for a while. Once set up, I can change the forwarding address to whatever I want, whenever I want.
