Hi everyone,
I just joined this forum because I have been scammed out of all the money I had.

I'm not looking for advice because I know this is all my own fault and I feel absolutely ashamed of myself, I just wanted to share my thoughts with other people who have been through the same thing as me (a bit like admitting you're an alcoholic I suppose!), and hopefully stopping someone else getting caught like I did, also by posting what details I have on these people maybe they will show up in the search engines if anyone is trying to check them out.

I wanted to buy some wholesale mobile phones on-line and spent the last 3 months searching for "reliable" sources to buy from, finally I thought I had found one and made contact, they were very professional and seemingly up front with contact details eg. phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses and websites, only to find out (too late) that all this was false and stolen information.

I placed an order for the minimum 10 units and paid out over £2100.00 GBP using Western Union (I still can't believe I was that stupid!) and, you guessed it the phones never arrived! they even gave me a tracking number for the courier so that I could check they had arrived in the UK, obviously I have since found out that the courier firm "transit-courier.com" is a fake and apparently the domain name has been stolen or hi-jacked by these scammers to be used as a seemingly legitimate and independent business.

When the phones had supposedly arrived in the UK they then said I had to pay another £400.00 in customs duty which I was expecting, but by this time I was already having grave doubts about the validity of the whole thing and had started digging a lot deeper than I had previously (and yes I know I should have done this in the first place but everything seemed so genuine at the time), and sickeningly I found about 3 other people in another forum who had been scammed by some of the same people I was dealing with.

Needless to say I didn't pay the extra money and I confronted the main person I had been dealing, with the information I had found, amazingly he denied everything I put to him and insisted that once I paid the duty I would receive the phones, but never once answered the accusations I put to him about the fake couriers, phone numbers etc.

I have spoken to my local police force and they don't seem to be very interested and say that it would be almost impossible to track these people down as they are obviously an international gang.

From what I know they are based in the UK, USA and guess what? Yeah that's right Nigeria, however even this may not all be true!

The names I have are:

Nick Noeless (Texas USA allegedly) Nicnoe Fashion and cellulars
Phil Anderson (Cheshire UK allegedly)
Steve Anderson (unsure but I think he's in the UK) email m.gazzette@gmail.com
James MgBachi (definitely in Nigeria)

And don't forget the courier service http://www.transit-courier.com

As I said earlier, I'm not looking for advice because I know this is my own stupid fault, but I needed to get this off my chest, and again hopefully stop someone else from falling into the same trap.

I am absolutely devastated by what I've let happen here and I feel sick to my stomach, not to mention having lost all faith in humanity at present. I don't consider myself a mug, I'm in my late forties and have been round the block enough times (or so I thought) to be able to spot a scam, but obviously I was wrong about that! I hope in the future I will be able to look back on this as yet another of lifes learning curves, at the moment however I am just filled with anger but even more so, utter despair and grief that people are capable of doing this to each other without any thought for the consequences of their actions upon other peoples lives.

I apologise for ranting on about this but I just needed a shoulder to cry on, and I guess that's why I joined your forum.

Kindest regards

Pete.

P.S sorry to the people reading this on the 419Nigerian scam section of this site, I shouldn't have posted it there but my head was spinning at the time!

First off, I am sorry you got scammed and we all have big virtual sholders so cry away :D . Secondly, you are not stupid for falling for a scam. These scammers are good at what they do and know how to come across as legit companies and play on the fact that there are people out there that are not educated on the "what to watch out for" flags (i.e. payment made by wire transfer). Thirdly, thank you for sharing your story and the information on the company and the names of the scammers since this is the type of info that people usually google search and it will hopefully lead them here.

Hey thanks for that,
I appreciate what you're saying, I just can't get past the stage of hating these ba###rds right now, and I'm more upset about the fact that I have never hated anyone in my life before this happened, and I don't even know who it is I'm hating now! if that makes any sense at all?

But it's good to hear from people who care about other people, believe it or not this guy is still trying to get me to part with more cash to get the phones! I now have a couple of phone numbers from these pr**ks which I will post tomorrow, I would do it now but I've been at my pc trying to find out if there's anyway of getting these people prosecuted for over 20 hours now and I'm pretty much done in! (not to mention even more emotional about the whole bloody thing!) But I really do appreciate your concern.

Thank you.

That makes perfect sense. Remember, you are talking to people who have been in your shoes. We have been through all of the stages of emotions that you are going through right now. We can also tell you that it DOES get better.

Thanks, I really do appreciate the support I'm getting here.

I have one more piece of info I forgot to post, it's the email address for Steve Anderson above! m.gazzette@gmail.com so if anybody wants to say hello to him or send a friendly message or a virus or something please do so with my blessings!!!

I would love to do this myself but apart from him knowing my email address he also has my home address, and as I said earlier I think he's in the UK as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to meet this guy (I'm an ex boxer and can still handle myself) and have ten minutes with him! the problem is I would imagine knowing the type of animals these people are, they most likely travel in packs! So if anyone has any mass mailing software please don't hesitate to bombard his inbox!!!

Feeling better already!

That is smart to not do anything since he has your home info. If you would like to check out http://419eater.com/ they do a lot of scam baiting and messing around with the scammers over there . . . I am sure that you can find someone that would LOVE to send him something special via email.

Thanks Shawn,
I just registered and gave them the details of the fake courier site that was used as part of the trap! apparently they have the ability to kill fake sites off, so maybe I can get a small amount of revenge after all.

Hello,

My name is Frank Newman. My wife Linda also got scammed by this jackass, or these jackasses, but it appears most of the info used to scam us has been changed. This happened two days ago.

I found this forum by Google searching the telephone number. The phone number (in UK), that he left on "courier-despatch.com" is the exact same number that is on this forum.

Here is the info on the S.O.B. that we dealt with:

Hi Frank,
First off, I'm really sorry that your wife got caught by these scumbags but tell her not to beat herself up too badly over this.

As you can probably tell from my first post here, I was absolutely devastated and ashamed that I had been caught by these people but I soon realised just how good they are at what they do. the BBC even ran a story about them on radio 4 over here about 3 weeks ago!

I've already set the wheels in motion to have their latest fake courier site killed off so they won't be using that for much longer! small victory but if it causes them even the smallest inconvenience it makes me happy!

I think next you need to go here http://www.ic3.gov and report it (as suggested in Eli's post) and give them all the info you have, I'm going to post the latest details about them over on Alibaba now.

The more postings and info that we put out there about these people will hopefully make things more difficult for them to keep doing this!

Good luck

Pete.

Follow up from previous post.

Hi Frank,
The fake courier site has now been killed, and I've put another posting on alibaba.com where amazingly these people are still advertising for business!

Regards

Pete.
