Hi I wanted to post this scam to make people aware or help me find others that have been scamed by these people. The people in question is a website called puppyuk.net , I was scamed by them in regards to buying a british bulldog pup that never came. They also scam people for Yorkie pups, british and french bulldogs papillon Shih Tzus and maltese puppies.
The one main name to be aware of his Harry Owen (probably not his real name) he is the one that scammed me. Also listed as breeders on the site is Leali Radford, Angela Alexandra, and Tammy Craig.
Email addresses are as fallows: harry@puppyuk.net
owen@puppyuk.net
owen_harry34@yahoo.ca
The money that I sent was requested through moneygram or western Union. I choose to do western union thinking that it was pretty safe. The money was sent to regina and was sent to the Name Mr. Yinka Onikio aparently the manager of the company.
Upon setting up and alternet email address myself under a different name to see how much more information I could get after responding to another one of his classified ads for a yorkie pup, he tried to tell me that he was in dallas tx, but was in nigeria doing missionary work. Thats another thing. When scamming me he went by harry owen then after the scam he now refers to himself as Rev. Harry Owen.
Well come to find out when sending the information that i took to the police that the emails where in fact coming from los angeles(as far as i know)
If anyone has any information about this or about anything like this please post a response.
Thanks for reading my story and I hope that nobody else gets scammed like I did

Yet another Nigerian scam - all the warning signs were there, but if you're not familiar with these scams you wouldn't pick up on them. The request to send money via WU or Moneygram was the biggest red flag - never send money via WU or Moneygram to someone you don't know - it is not safe, you may as well leave a pile of cash sitting on your drive with a 'please help yourself' sign next to it.

I just got a similar response when I replied to an ad for a Yorkie. I replied on Yahoo classifieds. His name was Rossy Wells and he directed me to someone he sold the dogs to who was a PASTOR doing missionary work in Africa. I saw red flags all the way. So I emailed this "pastor" who also had a yahoo email address and he emails me back and sends me pics of the dogs which are taken from someone else's website and also the name of whoever's website he took them from was like whited out in paint or something.

BEWARE of any of this. Thank God I didn't fall for it, but hopefully, posting this can make someone else not fall for it either.

Hi again. Thanks for reading my post and for responding to it. If anyone knows other sites to post this warning at please do so. The website is still up and running with new pictures of pups, and i cant seem to get it taken down. If anyone can assist me in that it would be a very large help.
thanks again.

You could try reporting them to yahoo, since the info on them listed that they are using a yahoo email account. Just let yahoo know that they are using the account to commit fraud. You could also contact the website host and maybe they will shut down the site

Also, you could contact http://wiki.aa419.org/index.php/Main_Page
they do a lot of work with shutting down sites

I have tried contacting yahoo and I was unable to get anywhere, I also tried contacting Homestead by phone but that did not work either. I have sent emails to homestead about this problem to and they have yet to get back to me after a month or so, thanks for the suggestions though.

That is strange . . . then why do they have an "abuse" at yahoo email account for you to report these things to. I know that they do not shut it down with one report, but they used to at least tell people that they will look into it, which meant that if there were several reports on the same account they would shut it down.

Yahoo will kill his addresses, but they won't do it without concrete proof that he is scamming (scam mail that includes the full headers) and a proper abuse report. The best way to get this proof is to bait him, but this should NOT be done without extensive research on knowing how to do it safely.

If you would like him to get some very unwelcome attention from people that specialize in killing this type of addy, the folks in the "Phone Lads" forum at http://www.419eater.com will gladly help out. You can post the addys over there if you like, or PM them to me here and I will do it for you.

I am updating about "Rossy Wells" I'm pretty sure he's the one I have tried to get a puppy from but never went through with it because I knew it was a scam. Instead of the name Rossy Wells, he used Wellsford, and he was the one who moved to Nigeria, not his pastor.
He had an ad up on Ziply.com It said he was from Clinton Township, MI and had one male and one female puppy, His ad states: "Adorable male and female yorkies for adoption. They are 3 months old and well socialized and good with children and other animals.Shots up to date on all vaccinations and dewormings and AKC Registration...Health Guarantee..like playing with kids and children well train and come with vet check papers and health certificate. They are ready to meet their forever home where there will spend the rest of their life.If interested contact me via email:rossy_wells@yahoo.com."
So, I emailed him and asked about the puppies, he said that the "weather in Nigeria is too rough on the puppies and he needs to get rid of them", he also said they were 2 months old, instead of 3 which is when I fell even more suspicious, he assured me it wasn't a scam, he even sent me "Contract and Guarantee papers."

I just want to put this up here because obviously this guy is using different names, and different stories.
