I'm thinking I just got scammed on my iPod. I am so pi**ed off right now and I want to do ANYTHING to track this guy, or whatever he is, down. Is there anything I can do?

I listed my iPod nano on craigslist.org for the local detroit area. I recieved an email from a guy in Nigeria (fakolumi00@yahoo.com) saying he would pay $250 for my iPod. I was like OK, that's cool...I'll get rid of it for what I paid for it and buy the new video iPod. So I did, sent it off to Nigeria - in the meantime I'm waiting for his MoneyGram payment that at this point in time will never show up. Called FedEx about 3 days ago, trying to get them to intercept my package, which did not work either....the package was delivered. crap!!! I'll pay to track this guy down....I know this happens to millions of people, but I'm furious right now.

Are you saying you sent the IPOD to the 'buyer' without having received any payment from him, not even a fake check / money order?

YES!!! I'm retarded and I deserve it. His email said he had to supply the tracking number to moneygram before they could send the money. I hope nobody else goes through this process. It sucks....specially with an iPod nano on the line!

Be glad you were not scammed for more. It could be alot worse you could be like myself who got scammed by a travelers check, I thought I would be covered by them but apparently NOT. By the time the bank stops charging my account w/ fees it will be $2000.00 in lost money.
