I would suspect that the person that sent you the email is only PRETENDING to be with the military.

The military will not give out information to anyone unless you are a relative. I was able to speak to a military investigator because I was scammed by someone pretending to be a soldier and I supplied them with pictures so they could contact soldier in the pictures to let him know what is going on, so they filed a report. All I can say is put a blocker on the guy and please post the name he is using on here in case he tries it with someone else. We need to protect each other.

Hello Sandra

The military will never disclose information of employees.
Whatever their employee would be doing they will always save them.

So just inform them about the matter and forget.

Thanks
