I have been scammed. They have our address, name, email, and phone number! They sent us a check via FedEx and I know it’s fake. Has any body heard of identity theft or any thing bad happening from not sending the money? I know they have our address, has any one heard of any thing happened to someone who didn’t send the money! I just don’t want some one to show up on our door step or send something in the mail! Anything will help! Thank you |

As long as you haven't given them any personal information like birth date, soc sec number etc you should be ok. If they have your phone number they "may" try calling you but 99% of the time they are over seas and won't bother because of the charges. If they do just hang up and get your number changed or just ignore them and they'll eventually stop. They wont show up at your door step so don't worry about that. Do report it. I would block their email address and phone number. |

Thank you for your help I will take your advice now I have one more question I haven’t gave him any personal information but . . . do these guys normally just stick to scams or do they dabble in hacking or any thing like that? |
