Welcome.

Yes you can post photos by scrolling down when you are posting and you will see a section titled Upload attachment. Click the "choose file" button and find your picture and click OK. Then hit the add file button to attach it to your post.

If you want to add emails or IM's you have received from scammers please copy them from your email/im history and paste them into the post.

There are pictures of scammers posted here (mostly in the dating/romance scam section) just look for the threads that have a paperclip next to them.

Hope this helps.

Russell

Just keep in mind that a good 99% of those pictures that are sent to you and other victims are not the actual scammers but stolen pictures of people they found on the internet they just simply copy and paste them.... posting a picture of someone who is "not" a scammer could also cause legal ramifications.

The legal ramifications can be avoided. When posting a pic state "these are the pics the scammer used" rather than saying "these are the pictures of the scammer". Doing this doesn't slander the person in the picture.

Would that it were that simple and handy! :D I had an aunt who ereceivd hundreds of postal delivered letters from SCAMmers/Frauds/etc. I have created a web site displaying some 50+ letters. But one group caught may attention specifically because of the supposed pictures of the people the three different SCAMmers had helped. Most of the pictures were exactly the same! Different names, same image. But these low-lifes were so lazy that they didn't change the text of their SCAMs. Even the labels on the images were the same; "Document #247", for example. The point is, these letters were all made from the same text document, the layout, images, everything was the same. All the different SCAMmer has to to is choose a different font and they have a "brand new document!" NOT!

Short story: the images are no more real than the SCAM! I dare you to actually find anyone with any of the names on those images that looks anything like the picture. Even the "author" of the SCAM is fictitious! The same person edits the text, changing the name and sometimes the promises, and sends them out to the same mailing list they already have.

The best use of these letters is as a fire starter... don't believe anything in them! :x

Later:
Speaking of 'legal protection'... while editing my site today, I noticed several letters which stated, usually in very fine print, "Photo and identity not contractually binding." At least some SCAMmers know they are using these images that are not personal. I don't think it would absolve them of any legal problems unless they have actually paid for the use of the image, however.

Hi,
I vave been a member of Anastasia for about a month. In my op0inion it is just a scam. It can be interesting if you approsach it like I did. I have never been on a dating site before, but the women you "meet" online are just a bunch of cold, calculating bitches who want to flatter older, lonely men, get them to sponsor them into Canada and the U.S. Once they have done this, they will leave him high and dry. In many cases you are only "talking" to a bunch of photographs taken by a professional photograper. It is an employee of the agency who is writing the emails, in many cases the emails are written by a man!. You are also charged for every email you read and every email you write. I should tell you that the reason I am doing this is because I am doing an investigation for the CBC, and it will appear either next month or the month after. I write my blog under a pen name.

If you are, say, 70 years of age, and a beautiful woman anywhere from 40 to 52 or 53.....watch out. If these women were in this country right now, they would not give you a second glance. The Ukraine is a beautiful country and you can go to a concert in a beautiful building dating back to the 1600s. The climate is gorgeous in the spring, especially in cities like Odessa, for example. My late father was born in a Jewish village near Kiev, so I feel ties to this country. He and his family escaped from what was then called "white
Russia" during the pogroms of the 1920s.

If you want to visit this country, by all means do so, but if you expect to find a gorgeous young woman waiting for you, forget it. The chances of that happening are 1000-1.
