I've heard talk of pending legislation that would require anyone receiving money from a Ponzie Scheme to repay it back to (the court???), so that it can be ultimately redistributed to all the victims evenly.

Has anyone heard of anything like that in the offing? Frankly, as it might sound like a good idea, it would adversely effect me for one. I lost well into the five figures to a ponzi. I received back a few thousand along the way in monthly interest distributions. I'll be damned if I am going to return that couple of thousand against the 15X greater number I lost.

It is actually called "Clawback" and it is not new legislation. There are different ways the courts can apply clawback. If you google "Ponzi Clawback" you will find some good articles and papers describing how and what can happen.

Thanks, you are correct. I rec'd some additional info that indicates that is what they are looking towards. Thanks for your response.
