so i applied to a mystery shopper ad on craigslist and was accepted. they told me they will be sending me money to purchase items at walmart and process a transaction at a western union outlet. the site is http://www.shoperslink.com/Aboutus.html. whoever is sending me the email has TERRIBLE communication skills (cant spell or anything lol) so im guessing its fake. im going to block their email address and continue in my search for a part time job :)

When receiving emails the best thing to do first is check the IP Address. This for the most part will tell you where the person is located. Of course they could be using a proxy or satilite which will hide their real location.

Good luck to you in your quest to find a part time job. Be safe.

Please go to the work at home/employment scams section of this message board and read the info on Secret Shopper Scams post there.

Have you reported the post to Craigslist?

Also, when you go to the website listed in your post, http://www.shoperslink.com , you will see the logo for the MSPA. If you do a Google search on the MSPA you will find their REAL site. Looks like the scammers are now making copies of the MSPA site. I would report this to the MSPA and they may want to see the emails and the full headers from those emails.
