This holiday season the FBI reminds shoppers that cyber criminals aggressively create new ways to steal money and personal information. Scammers use many techniques to fool potential victims, including conducting fraudulent auction sales, reshipping merchandise purchased with stolen credit cards, and selling fraudulent or stolen gift cards through auction sites at discounted prices.

We had a crime prevention officer here last nite and he said during the holidays, purse snatching goes up at least %400!!! His advise is to get a small change purse to keep all the valuables in such as driver's lic, credit card, cash and when you go shopping to take that change purse out of your purse and put it into your pocket... if your purse gets snatched all they will get is your lipstick and comb! Not a bad idea to use during the holidays! 8)
