Even though I was not a victim of a Romance scam, I joined the group when i found out about it also to learn more about those types of scams. They are a very helpful and understanding group of people and I would recommend them to any Romance Scam victim!

I agree wholeheartedly. I think it is probably the most comprehensive group for romance scam victim support on the web, or anywhere for that matter. There are lots of places to look for pictures, etc. But very few places that one can get a lot of answers to all the questions that come up.

Pretty much one stop shopping for victims.

That sounds awful. Are gays and bi sexuals victims of this as well? If not then it must be hard being straight. At least you don't have to fear homophobias though.

Anyone can be a victim . . . the scammers do not discriminate.

I have been a member of this group for almost a year and must say they have a great support system for their victims and are very informative. They are the largest Sweetheart Scam or Romance Scam Support Group on the net. They have close to 12,000 members and are now creating a site much like this one for Sweetheart Scam Victims. What I like about this group is that they discourage their victims to scambait and focus on healing. They were even featured on "Oprah."
