I just went to the site to try and register and find out more about the site for our users, and I could not get registered.

Until I can check things out, I would not advise anyone to sign up for anything. (if they ask for money to help you, it is a scam)

Warning!

This is right from their site . . .

While no relief is guaranteed, given the nominal fee involved in comparison with the potential for redress, services may provide victims of Internet fraud with a real avenue by which to proceed against these wrongdoers.

Do not pay a fee to anyone, except a lawyer, to help you with your scam issue!

Once I got into the site and registered, to submit a claim you must enter a credit card number so I would NOT advise anyone to use this site and it's services.

Yes to register a claim there is a $10.00 charge.
But they will gather all your information and from other people that have been scammed to create a unified claim and have more possibility of being heard.

Victims do not need to pay to claim a scam do the appropriate authorities, they can go directly to IC3.com or any other government agency and submit their claim individually for no charge. even exposes IC3.com banner on their website. If we all sign up they will present our claim together and gather more information from all signees to make a much powerful case, against the perpetrator.

I tried setting up an account But, when I try to signon, it doesn't recognize my password immediately after setting up my account. I know I didn't mess it up as I have software that tracks my keystrokes. So, I went through their process to reset my password, that worked. I was able to submit my claim. They even state there is no charge for the service if claims are submitted before 6/1/2009. Didn't ask for my credit card. So, I did this, plus I did many other things to report my case that I found on scamvictimsunited.com. I'm not hoping to get my money back, I'm just hoping that other people will not get duped as I did.
