A little inside joke!! I am not a police officer but a teacher. Computer teacher no less, and smart enough to know that things like this have happened in the past. No one sends you four grand and expects you to send it back! Heck, I wish it WAS good so I could take some money from them!! Anyway, keep up the good work on this site!! Its awesome!! Hey I was doing the roommate thing too and got a check today from some "model" in nigeria. First community bank in ellisville MO, just like yours. My check was for 5000. It looks like a real check...it's amazing how good these scams are getting...anyways...thanks for the info, I was about to take it to the bank when I decided to look up valnet inc. haha. Justin |

Turn the check over to the bank that it was drawn on with a nice letter that someone tried to scam you with the check, and you thought they would want it for their references incase more come at them in the future. TG you didnt cash it and you do not owe your bank. |
