Hi!

I have received this message today. Does it look like a scam to you?

From: Helen Johnson" <helenjohn100@gmail.com

SUbject: I M HIGHLY INTERESTED IN YOUR ROOM BUT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME FOR VIEWThursday, December 9, 2010 6:53 PM

Thanks for the response to my introductory mail,I really do appreciate
mail about the room and its really a nice place . I'll be so glad if
you can reserve the room for me as i'll love to rent the place.I am a
Tourist Research and at the same time Makeup Artist , i own a small
business , I have just finished a contract work here in London so i
will be taking a transfer to Canada by last week of December for a
tourist research program and have a nice time because i have not been
to Canada before . I will be staying for a minimum of 6 -9 months or
more . Am 28 years old American woman ,I don't drink nor smoke but I'm
cool living with people that do, no male friend at the moment because
I am a very busy woman. I like honest, responsible, trustworthy and
hardworking people while I dislike lazy, messy, uncaring people and I
love dogs so much but I am not coming with any OK ,am quiet and easy
going person to live with. I'm 5'7' straight. I always love to go on
date but seldomly party. I swim for fun and sometimes play tennis.I
like my job cos we are working in collaboration with the musical
organization for the making up of their model and artist ,it also
involves traveling which is one of my hobbies, i am through with my
contract here in London by the end of this month and because its a big
work contract which i am coming down to Canada ,so paying my rents on
time won't be an issue of discussion because i have good job and I am
paid OK.

I must confess I'm comfortable with the cost of the room and its quite
reasonable and affordable . I will like to make the payment for the 2
months ahead of my arrival, and then i will make subsequent payment
thereafter as i plan to stay for more than 5 months and if i can see a
modeling company in Canada that offer a contract then i will stay and
see how its look like there,I've told my boss who offer me this
contract here in London about this and he promised to make sure that
he will meet up with the payment so that I can depart from here as
scheduled. He also said I will have the advantage to make payment for
deposit and i will continue with the rest fee when i arrive OK.I
should arrive to Canada in last week of December so please keep room
for me till my arrival. He will be responsible for my first 2 month
rent and he will prefer you a Cheque as the means of payment ,its will
be the Most acceptable, easier, safer and reliable means of payment
which is your Currency cheque so please let me know if this type of
payment is OK by you. He will not be able to do any Money transfer
payment or bank wire payment due to his bitter experience on this ways
ok.

And if YES please provide me with the following information to get the
payment to you.Your full name as it will appear on the payment, your
address to ensure delivery in your hands through regular mails, kindly
get back to me with this requested address contact information so that
we can proceed asap bye for now.. I don't want us to waste time on
this because i really like the location of the room OK , Because i
dont want us to waste time on this because we dont have time on our
side ok .

Do get back to me with your full information,

(1)your full name .
(2)your contact address .
(3)City
(4)Postal code
(5)your phone # .
(6)your email address so that my boss can sent the payment to you OK.
(7) Amount to be paid in advance

Feel free to ask me any question(s) you have okay...

I will be coming down with my things and my car , so i will like to
know if there will be a provision for parking space for my car and how
much will this cost monthly OK , All this expenses will be added to
the cheque that will be sent to you ok

Hope to read from you soon.

Kindest Regards
Helen Johnson

Scam . . . 100% sure of it. The check that will be sent to you will be counterfeit. Cut off all contact with this person.
