Post subject:  I just about got scammed too, where is a safe place to post?

I got an email from the Jessicah Moore, who also stated she was raised in France and was a nurse moving to my state and needed a room, sounded so good, can't beleive I just about fell for it. Luckly a friend found this site and told me about it and I emailed the scammer back saying the room wasn't available anymore. But actually it is and I am in need of a roomshare in order to keep my house because my real roommate I have now is getting a job out of state and moving. I don't want to have to sell my house , where do people find REAL roommates ?? I am so discouraged at the moment because of this scammer who I thought was real and now I am back to square one looking for a roommate. Anyone have luck finding a REAL roommate/share ??? Please I need one to save my home or I will be looking for a roomshare myself soon. HELP !! Thanks

You can post on sites such as Craigslist just make sure anyone your in communications with is "local", you can also post notices at laundromats, grocery stores, churches and now that school is about ready to begin you can post on some of the bulletin boards at some of the colleges... if you keep it local you greatly lessen the chance of being scammed.
