Hi, I recently moved to the big apple what an experience its been so far. Before i moved i had to find a place to live so i did some research and found a place in the area i wanted to live. I contacted the info online spoke to a broker and went up to NYC that weekend to look at the place and sign the rent. so to make a long story short. I got there liked the place and then negotiated with the broker we made a deal i had to pay first and last as security and then he would then give me the first 2 months free and then at the end of the lease i would have to pay the last 2 months since it was tied as security. so i did it. I moved in 2 weeks ago and already im getting calls and letter from the management company wanting to know where there money is. i told them to contact the broker. These guys are unreachable. i am getting really frustrated and don't know what to do anymore. please help. |
