Yep! This time his name is Allan Hurvitz on Craigslist with the same phone number 1-206-338-0761 and the rental at 308 W. 57th St. New York City. Others on similar topics have gotten a different name on the passport. When we asked for references, as most scammers do, he gave 2 foreign names. We asked for local and he sent "eddywilly45@..." in Texas who just happened to have rented his apartment. In Hurvitz's response, he referred to him as Mr. Edward, a dead giveaway. I wrote to eddywilly asking questions without providing any information to see if he could give me back exactly what I was getting from Hurvitz. No response yet. However, looking at the "Message Source" of Hurvitz emails was typical of what I see with scammers emails. He also listed his "agency" as Allan Vacational Rentals". BEWARE!! |
