I made a post for roommate in Craigslist, for Los Angeles two days ago.
The header was what tipped me off, it wasn't like the normal response headers, it looked like a computer program had jumbled it up or something. Then the text in the body of the email came out funny. Plus it said the respondant was "Kate Bosworth" email
katebosworth9550@gmail.com.
So I took the email address and used my junkmail/spam email account and emailed the respondant, without providing any information. Then I got the email which had very poor english, like it was written by an ESL speaker. Plus the information didn't jibe. So I googled chunks of the text and got this website, which in several areas, had verbatim the email I got.
The email also asks for your contact and location information, which was a major red flag. And they wanted to send a cashiers check for the deposit, from UK.
