Well, i have read thru several of these and I am pretty sure this is what i have on my hands too. I have a girl from Hawaii named Maria Graig mgraig10@yahoo.com basically stating the same stuff as some of the other scams that are posted on here. I did email her back and she responded again stating that her uncle would be sending me a check via usps to reserve the room paying for the first months rent and deposit. She was wanting my address, name and phone number in order to send the check. I am not sure what all could go wrong with it thou. She hasn't asked for any bank info or ask for any cash to be sent back her way. But thought i would throw it out there and see what others thought before emailing her back. I haven't sent my address or phone number yet. Let me know what ya think. Thanks!

i'm also trying to get everything set up as soon as i can cause i don't have much time to spend here again..am comfortable with the cost of the room and its quite reasonable and affordable. So i have discuss about the room payment to my uncle and he promise to make it up to you as soon as he have the necessary information that he will need to get the payment across to you.The check will be mail out to you via USPS regular mail delivery service and you will get it in couple of days.
All you have to do now in order to get the payment to you is to provide the below information.
(1)your full name. So that the check can be made payable to you.
(2)your contact address. In order to mail the check to you.
(3)your phone #. You can be reach in case of emergency.
I will arrive as soon as all arrangement is concluded. But the check will get to you as soon as possible so that i can secure the place prior to my arrival..

What I am guessing will happen next is either

1) Once you have the check and have deposited it, something will suddenly come up and she will have to back out of the deal, and she will ask you (since you already have her money in your bank account) to just wire the money back to her . . . she may even say that you can keep a couple of hundrend "for your time and trouble"

or

2) Her uncle will make a mistake and the amount of the check will be not only for the deposit/rent, but also for the moving fees of getting her stuff there. She will tell you I am so sorry . . . my uncle did not understand that I needed two checks . . . one for you and one for the mover . . . could you just wire the overage to the mover (who will actually be her partner in crime). Once you do this, you will never hear from her again.
