Oh my post...I see that in her first email she said she was 28 and in the second she is 27. Definitely a scam.

Someone posted that the IP address on Angela is in Nigeria. How do you look up where an IP address is coming from?

Finding the IP Address requires that you look at the email header itself. How you get at it is dependant on your webmail/desktop client.
Looking up an IP Address can be done through a WHOIS search, such as Domain Tools [link: lookup]

we are the only ones to blame when some one pulls a scam on us, this lady contacted me, the only thing i have done was type her name and this came up, thanks to you people i pulled away on time, so i urge every one to investigate before falling to this kind of scams, i am not talking about money here, i am talking about people that the only way of leaving its making money no matter the consecuence, they have no feeling and have no problem finishing some ones live for a dollar so lets be smart, investigate before going ahead amd make a mistake, i have been scam by several ladys i will write their names heres and hoplefully prevent some one to make the same mistake,, Aliria Montagoth (barranquilla colombia), sandra mantell ( usa passport 100003106), jenny correa ( miami florida Colombian) , Kelly Jimeno ( barranquilla colombia), Nilibeth santana (venezolan with spain passport),

I am late in asking this question but hoping someone is still around to help.. I have a friend who is doing the online dating and had met a " wealthy man" who is currently working in Nigeria as a contractor ( had pictures of his elaborate work) and when she question if he was ligit he gave a passport number someone listed here as a female scammer....( see above)
He is going by the name " dale g richmond" using a usa passport # 1000003106... I dont trust anyone and I look up EVERYTHING so she asked me to research this guy , that is how I got a hit on the passport. Anyone know anything about this? He has yet to ask her for any money but states he is upset she doesnt believe him. Claims to live in Georgia... and will be flying out to see her soon... I dont buy it.

CrazyColtFan - I am glad that you found our site.

I would say that they are a scammer just off of the information that you gave. If searching their passport brought you here, that is a clear sign of a scammer. They will tell your friend whatever they can to make them believe that they are for real.

They may not ask for money right away. They may also ask your friend to cash checks for them. I would tell your friend to trust what you have found so far and be glad that you found the information before they got involved with this person.

I would suggest that they block the email address and not contact the person again.

misinterpretation while sending the money..According to all I
explained to him,he was supposed to have sent you a payment for the
place out of the money he was supposed to send for the room, the car i
will need in school. But instead he sent all at once and it should be a
certified check of ($3500).He claimed that he thought i said he should
send you the whole money for car and the rent. But I know very well i
told him to send just the amount for the rent, but i guess he didn't
get it straight,Because he told me he thought you were the one renting
the place and selling the car at same time.I have tried to tell him to
void the check and send two separate check for you and for the car

state and that he cannot do anything at the moment unless when he gets
back by the end of next month. Please I do really need your help in
this to secure the car and the place at the same time.I am really so
so sorry about this mess he made. And the car seller is getting really
impatient at the moment. But please that should not disturb my renting
your place, the deal is on and we will get through it.Now that you have
the check with you,i want you to take it to the bank and have it
deposited into your bank then withdraw the sum of ($2750),which is
meant for the car dealer and the money should be sent to their head
office in KY so that they can secure the car for me till i get
there,i'll want you to keep the sum of $100 for your running around
and your time i might have taken, below is their information where you
will have the money sent to at the WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER...

Name------------------Frances Sodoma
Address---------------4305 Martha Avenue
City------------------Bowling Green
Zip Code--------------42103

As soon as you have the money wire to the CAR DEALER and done with
western union i want you to get back to me with the following

minutes(QUICK PAY)

1.Sender's Name and Address------------------------------
2.Receiver's Name and Address------------------------------
3.Amount sent after the western union QUICK PAY fee--------

Not sure if I got the same one from Craigslist or, but it's the same "person" still looking for a room to rent, with the same long history & sick uncle in France. Fortunately, I never gave out any real information & directed her to send the check to my attorneys' office. I then sent her an email that none of the info I gave her was real and that I found out about her scam. So, Jessicah Moore, now also goes by Gloria DeMore, nurse from France, sick uncle in France, shipping furniture & car.

10 Swanzey St
Keystone, SD 57751, USA
My rent is going to be due in 2 weeks time....

I must confess am comfortable with the price and I will want to secure the place down before my arrival so i will want you to tell me all about the place,as i can't see it before my arrival but the pictures...I also will want you to know that i have my car that i will be coming over with, and little of my furniture ,please let me know if there will be room for them..

Since you already know it is a scam and have posted it here the best thing to do is delete the email. Do not respond.
