sorry :? . . . if you didn't cash or wire the money to them in Nigeria, then how are you out $5,000?

I just want to make sure I understand your situation.

Thanks,

I think this means all the money from the fake money orders that appeared in the bank account was withdrawn and sent back to the scammer.

That is why I was confused and looking for clarification . . . they say

but then they also say

Quote:
Well i sent it all back

So . . . did you deposit/cash the money orders and wire money to Nigeria or not?

IF snake never sent the money to the scammers, then where did it go?

There are only really 2 ways this could come down :

1. Snake didnt send the money to the scammers and spent the money paying bills etc etc etc.

of

2. Did send the money to the scammers and now owes the bank.

Please be aware everyone that IF you were directed by scammers to send the money to them and instead you spend it on yourself sending nothing to the scammers, you have technically crossed the line into committing a crime by ripping off the rip off artists.

Not quite right, you have ripped off the bank, the scamsters had no money tied up in this.

I have faced a similar issue, but I prefered to stay out of crook, and not to indulge in any transaction  [/quote]

I'm sorry you've been scammed. If you're feeling stupid, don't, please. These scammers have taken months, maybe years to perfect their craft of spinning lies. They've taken the trust that you put in them and abused it. I know it will be hard to trust people at first, but it takes time to heal.

Please feel free to share your story whenever you feel comfortable doing so.
