I was wondering if we could have a thread for Counterfeit postal money orders like there is for counterfeit cashier checks? Alot of folks out there state they now only accept postal money orders in auction forums because they are the safest...its a false security given its a federal check..but as you all know here on this forum..its not. I think it would better help those who come here to know there are wide spread scams going on with cashier checks....and federal..postal money orders!..that its just not banks they are hitting..its the federal government too....maybe then the banks and federal post office will do something when no one is doing business by buying or accepting these forms of payments because they have lost the publics confidence by repeatedly failing to demonstrate that they can securely clear these forms of payments and protect the citizens who are being paid by counterfeit forms of payments....... not to mention they have not only failed to demonstrate any of the above, but people also now have to be scared because instead of the authorities going after the scammers they are attacking the innocent victims who was paid with counterfeit forms of payment!...arresting them..accusing them...charging them....
This is where it gets completely out of control...if the scammers don't get ya and your pocket book..local authorities will!!!

That is a good idea. You are one of the first ones to come here with a Counterfeit postal money order, so that is why it does not have it's own section.

I am going to guess that enough people have caught on to the counterfeit cashier's checks and bank checks and that is why they are switching to Counterfeit postal money orders.

I know that if the scammers send the check through the postal system it is a Federal Crime, that is why they use FedEX . . . wouldn't that same sort of thing apply to the fact that it is a postal document that they are counterfeiting?

This is soo important to me..thank you!! thank you for hearing me and giving me and many others a voice on the postal money order scam!... i feel like i have a family now...really... for that i thank you !!!!!!!!!!!....i don't feel alone no more!...who would believe it???...but those among this group know....they know!!
I had pretrial today...i will fill everyone in tom..i am sooo tired..just soo tired...like i need to explain that!! you all know how tired i am......by experience sad to say....

Counterfeit postal money orders have been around a while not, I actually know of a victim who lost lets just say thousands on one of these deals, was sent several envelopes with fake money orders amounting to about 9k.

Postal inspectors are acting as childish as the FBI and Secret Service, they wont touch it unless the amount exceeds 40k and even then you are lucky to get any positive action. Oh but local cops in various states still are clueless about this and charge the victim.

I was scammed with the Postal Money Orders as well and it seems as if they are being treated differently than Cashier's Checks. I would also like to see a section for them as well. Thank you!
