This is just my guess . . . enough people have heard about the counterfeit cashier's check scam so the scammers are not catching enough people with that one anymore, so they have moved on to counterfeiting money orders.

Guest why dont you tell us here what is going on, there are many good people who can help.

My suggestion off the bat would be to gather all the emails you were sent, documents sent via email, the envelope they came in , place them in a large zip lock bag and mark the front with a label.

On it put : EVIDENCE Your Name Date
Itemize the items in the bag

Then go to the post master and have you a sit down about this, ask for contact with the postal inspector. They know all about these scams and actually sometimes pay more attention than the feds ever will.

DeAnn I have tried to help you, I never said you were an idiot or stupid in any way. you take what I say totally out of context and then go on the attack.

You need to calm down and really think about what people say to you before jumping the gun so to speak and saying things that wind up hurting people.

This board is for people to help people, attacking others is NOT helping and as a moderator on this board I am asking you to refrain from attacks and respond appropriately to others.

By making statements like what you have made, you are undermining those who only want to help. Unfortunately in the process of helping realities have to be stated, I am sorry that you feel as though you are being attacked through the revelation of those realities, but if you want to come out of your situation without going to prison for something you didnt do, then I suggest that you take a step back , read between the lines and then go about your defense very carefully and with the help of those who have been there themselves.

If you do not want to listen to me then that is your choice, I do not force people to accept my help, either you want it or you do not, BUT if you do want the help all I ask is that you cease being on the defensive long enough to see what is being said in its entirety. You are missing a bunch of helpful information from people by getting defensive and not seeing the big picture.
