I saw the flyer for the Victims Rights Week in our post office. This is supported by the Justice Department and OVC. All of the services that are mentioned appear to help other types of victims. I did not see anything that applied to victims of Nigerian Fraud . A few months back there was an article about money to assist victims of financial crimes (Identify Theft)- $200K was reportedly to coming to my state. Maybe, we can brainstorm and see why there is nothing for fraud victims. Maybe a letter campaign to our lawmakers??? |

I do have something along those lines here viewtopic.php?f=19&t=2752 And I do want to contact the OCV so that we can get involved with this event next year. Meanwhile, we have plans going here for another awareness campaign . . . more details to follow once we get some details worked out. |
