I started doing advertisements on the internet for vemmabuilder and i received 5 money gram money orders for $850usd each. The envelope said Banking of the West the mo had Austin J. Montanez with the add. of 1869 parkview circle, costa mesa, ca it looked like a legit money order. at that time I did not have an account so I deposited them into a friends account. He said it came back counterfeit.what could happen ?how can i get out of this mess. please help!

The bank will go after the account holder, the one who owns the account the money orders were cashed on, if that is your friend's account they will go after him, the banks lay all responsibility on the account holder to know that what they deposit is legitimate and not fake, forged or altered.
