Hello, I have been chatting to this guy who says he is from California, but is in England buying art. He asked me if he sent me a check if I would cash it and wire the money to him. Being stupid I said yes...well I got the check this morning for $6500 dollars written off a Bank of America Account. I am scared to cash it and don't know what to do. I have read all of the stories on here and I need advise..... Thanks |

Do not cash it, take it to your bank and explain it is an internet scam, they will investigate the check for you.............Under no circumstances allow them to deposit in your account. |
