So one of my friends in knee deep in the middle of one of those money order scams where they send you a money order for a ridiculous amount for a something your selling. They tell you to cash the money order, then send money here and there, then send them the stuff, etc. etc. I suspected this scam from the start and I told my friend to just cancel everything and move on. Well my friend stoped showing me the emails so I assummed he stopped. I was wrong, I saw the money order lying around his house last night. I told him i'm 100% sure it's a scam and told him not to touch the money order. What should he do now? Just burn the money order and move on with his life? I don't want him to get into any trouble over this and it bothers me that I have read that some victims have been arrested. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Turn it over to the USPS Inspectors

so word of advise, if u wanna try, money orders usually check withing 6-12 days, but can also trake weeks or months

only thing you can do for sure

is call up the company that made the money order and verify that there is an order with that amount of money, by yourself

the bank will do it for you, BUT ONLY WHENITS TOO LATE AFTER THEY GIVE YOU MONEY

so if you wanna be fucked like me, dont call the original money order printer for all the information
