Question No. 1)

I got it for $5600 in Postal's. My homeowners covers $500 under "Counterfeit Currance". The money orders are not concidered currency, so would they be concidered "Personal Property" under my policy?

No. 2)

Does the FDIC have coverage for this?

No. 3)

Some states require banks to have insurance against this, so why don't they claim it there instead of robbing us?

Your Homeowner's Policy has a clause covering counterfeit currency? Never heard of that....

The FDIC covers you up to $100,000 if the bank goes under.

Why would the bank make a claim on their insurance for something that was your responsibility?

As I can find, "COUNTERFEIT" currency is a dead end..ie..if you end up with it, it's your loss. This is what I am told. I think that this cannot be deemed "currency".

Since this comes from a foreign country and it is so commonplace now, could it be concidered a form of terrorism? If so, is there relief from the government available?

Not looking for a handout, but I am poor and this loss has devestated my life.

Gary that unfortunately is the harsh reality of these crimes. Just be thankful you werent arrested and put in jail for it.

You will have to make a payment arrangement with whoever you owe whether it be a check cashing place or your bank.
