Greeting, readers. My name is Oliver Webb, and I am a Production Assistant for a new talk show called “The Voice†which will air on the R.L. Network. The primary goal of the Retirement Living Network is to create content for and about today’s mature adult. Both the network and the show are scheduled to launch regionally the week of September 5th. The R.L. Network will launch nationally shortly thereafter. For our show episode "Scam Proofing your Life" we are interested in securing the appearance of a person 50+ who is a scam victim. The ideal person would be talkactive and willing to share their personal story on tv to inform the world of the dangers and struggles you've experienced caused by a scam. You're personal story could help other realize it could happen to anybody so be careful and smart. The R.L. Network does not compensate monetarily for appearances. However, we will provide air travel, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation to and from the airport and studio. There will be no out of pocket expense for your travel and appearance. We want your story not your money. The shoot is a live to tape show that will take place in our Washington, DC studio. We will tape this episode on August 17th 2006, and hope your schedule will you to accommodate this request. Please do not reply if you are unavailable the day before and the day of shooting. Yeah it would be great to hear a professional talk about this. Is there a chance of a video recording and possibly posting it on a video site? ie Youtube |

I think they mean video's about information on the individual scams... actually that's a good idea if you can find someone who is not camera shy and can get the point across of each type of scam and the consequences of falling victim to them... this could actually be another avenue of getting the information out to those who may do a Google search on a particular type of scam and may also help in saving them from falling victim to them and what to do if they already have. |

We can put that on the "to do" list. If there are any victims of specific scams that would like to be a part of this, so we can do info and then share a personal story, let me know. |
