Not sure where to post this as there does not seem to be any general topics here. I just came across this site and I intend to link to it from my site, so that my users have a place to refrence online scams. Because of the type of site I run it's common for users to receive such emails as the ones posted on this site and the more educated they are the better they can fight back. We had started an auction patrol forum but now there is no need, I'm just going to refer all user to this site for scam related issues and education!

Thank you for the link and for taking an active roll in fighting back against these scams!

If you send a general "Welcome" email to people when they post an item for auction, you might want to think about adding some information about these scams to that letter to help and warn every person who uses your site.

Thanks for the welcome, and the advice I think I will add it to the welcome email as well. Do you think we could work tegeather here! I really want to provide a safe online marketplace and I have been discussing options with some of the powersellers on my site.

Would you be able to provide a forum for us on your site maybe under a heading of Online Auction sites that support SVU > Abidders.com. And possibly even link to us on your home page as active anti scam marketplace!

I have been wanting to update and clean up some things on this site for a while, to make information easier for people to find. When I do that I would be happy to make a section for online auction sites and encourage other sites to do exactly what you are doing to protect the people who use the site.

Now you can import all your feedback from many different Marketplace sites!

1. Log into your account.
2. Go to the feedback/reputation link on the left panel.
3 Follow the instruction starting in the middle of the page.

Your feedback will look like this in your Listings!

You now also have the option to compare listings in the category browse area!

To try it out browse to a category with items in it, and you will notice little boxes beside each
item that you can check. You will also notice a compare button, which you will click once you are done
selecting all the items you would like to compare!
