They were sending out AAA Visa cheques, now they have switched to Banca Serafin, N.A. VIsa Cheques. They are in $500 denominations.

Just as an FYI to anyone who may receive these types of things either in a business setting or personal setting. American Express do not come in any denomination other than $10, $25, $50, Â and $100. If you get the $500 get them to the police. The same goes for the Visa and Mastercard ones.

To verify the checks call the following for AMEX.
The number to call American Express for approval is 1-800-525-7641 Use Option #1 for gift cheques and travelers cheques

The ones I have picture of are Travelers Cheques, you are referring to Gift Cheques, there is a big difference.

Travelers Cheques commonly come in the $500 denomination.
