Post subject:  ESL Teacher Scam...too good to be true

I received the following message after placing my resume on a well known esl website. After several emails, a phone interview, pictures of his family, and a contract he put me in touch with his barrister to arrange the visa. Then I found online that this was a scam. Sure enough that day I got an email asking for 377 pounds sent to him via western union for the visa. I found that he changes his email frequently, but his barrister does not.
BEWARE!

This is definitely a scam. I got the same email as well;

my wife amandine and two kids by name , Sebastian and diana ,
i am in need of an english teacher to come and teach my wife and kids for

Dr Miguel

Unfortunately, I was able to send him a copy of my CV containing my cell phone # and my address in Japan, but only that.
I was suppose to call him tomorrow for an interview, but luckily I did some background check and I found this website along with others that share the same problem with this guy.

This is how it went down;

Dr. Miguel:
Dear Teacher,
Hope you are doing very good at the moment,
it is afternoon down here,i will be taking care of your flight bills
and my lawyer will be helping you in the processing of your working
visa,
nice hearing that you are presently teaching kids right now, that gives
me a little assurance,
my wife is particularly happy hearing that you would be coming with
your wife,at least she will have a good companion,
when can you be able to make it down here?
do you both have a valid international passport?
do you have some driving skills?
do call me tomorrow for some oral interview,
cheers
wife and kids sends their warm regards and cant wait to welcome you
Dr Miguel

Me:
Dear Dr. Miguel,

Thank you for your reply.
We can possibly go there as soon as we have prepared everything.
My wife is also thrilled with the idea of going there and meet your wife.
Yes, I have been teaching kids here in Japan for 6 months already, aside from teaching English conversation and Business English to adults in my country.
Yes, we both posses international passports, but I only have basic driving skills. (no driver's license)
I didn't have a car back in my country and my wife usually drives me to work whenever possible, or I would just take a bus.
I will call you today as soon as I finish my class.
Looking forward to talking with you and God speed.

Dr. Miguel:
Dear Teacher,
Hope you are doing very good at the moment,
it is early morning down here and we have all woken up,sorry,i will be
travelling out of the state this afternoon but will keep in touch via
e-mail,
you can only get me on phone by Monday morning upwards!
nice hearing how ready you and your wife are over coming down here.
with what i am working on,i could employ your wife after her arrival down here,
since you both have a valid international passport, that means it will
be a kind of easier for your travelling documents to be processed,
you do not need to possess a drivers license, just wanted to know if
you have driving skills or rather if you can be able to drive yourself
on arrival down here or if you would be needing a driver!i am almost
done with the working contract and should be sending it to you after
now
wife and kids sends their warm regards and cant wait to welcome you
cheers
Dr Miguel

Me:
Dear Dr. Miguel,

Good day to you as well, and thank you for your swift reply.
I'm doing great and I have just finished my class for today.
I will definitely call you on Monday.
I know how busy you are but I have some questions for clarifications, I hope you don't mind.

Which company do you currently work for/with?

How old are your children and what are their current levels of English? (including your wife)

How did you get my email address or who recommended me?
Forgive me for asking these questions, I hope you don't find it rude.
I want to know who I will be working for prior to going there, and it would help me assess and properly prepare for teaching your wife and kids.
From what I have observed from our previous exchanging of emails, you seem to be nice folks.
Me and my wife are kind, trustworthy and hard working, it would be an honor to work with honest people and who would treat us with respect.
Please do send our regards to your wife and kids, we are also eager to meet you all.

Dr. Miguel:
Dear Teacher,
Hope you are doing very good at the moment,
it is evening down here and we are even set to go to bed,
how was your day!
will be waiting for you call by Monday morning as we agreed,i think it
will be nice hearing from you.

In response to your question,i do not work for any company, presently
trying to establish a standard hospital here in UK,
my kids are 3and 6yrs old respectively and i shall be sending you our
family pics after now,
they will be needing to start from the basic level in view of their
level of education,
i read about you during the course of my search for a teacher through
Google
and decided to contact you instantly,
nice hearing that you and your wife are nice and caring,
same here but more so,we are very accommodating and tolerant,
cheers
wife and kids sends their warm regards and cant wait to welcome you here
Dr Miguel

Boom! So there it is, hope it can help.
I tried googling his name and it came out that a certain Dr. Miguel Diaz of UK is currently working for a mining company, but he said he is unemployed. How else can he afford to pay the things he said?
He also sent me a photo with his family.

-- Too bad I have already sent the requirements he was asking such as my resume`, cover letter and my picture. He still doesn't have any idea that I have stumbled upon this site and that I already know that it's just a scam. What should I do? Should I just suddenly stop communicating with him? Anyway, this is the email add he's using at the moment: <dr.migueld@googlemail.com>
