Does anyone know of any real work from home opportunities? I need something temporary, just until I get set up, but with the economy the way it is, I can't afford to have childcare so I can work outside my home, and really can't afford to pay start up fees.

I am sorry to say, in all of my years, I have found that most work at home jobs are scams. The real ones are jobs where you either have your own business, so you work at home and set your own hours, or you work for a company where you went in and did a face to face interview, got the job, and they allow you to do some of your work from home.

You mentioned that childcare is an issue for you . . . have you looked at working at a childcare center? Some of them allow a discounted rate for children of employees, so you would bring your child to work with you. Another job that you might even be able to do while bringing your child with you, so you will not need child care, is newspaper delivery . . . I know in our area there is a community newspaper that comes out once a week and it is usually a teenager in the afternoon that delivers it. I know that these will not bring in "big money" but it is real money instead of just the promises of big money that you will get from other "work at home jobs" that you hear about on the internet.

I have worked in daycare, and yes there was a discounted rate, but my hours are restricted because my son has therapy 2 days a week, and most daycares in my area aren't hiring right now anyway (I've already checked), and as far as the newspaper goes, my husband just gave up on that because, after paying for the gas, he wasn't even making minimum wage, and it was killing our car. I have a friend who is going to try to help get me set up to do medical transcribing, but everything I've seen online wants you to have years of experience in an office doing it already. I don't know, but things are getting tough. Please pray for me! Thanks!

Maybe consider opening up your own daycare service? You already have experience with children and you'll have control over the hours of service and the income you can make from it...

I have a real work at home job and right now it's only $45 to start. It is backed by famous doctors and just nationally lauched. If you want more info, just email me, I would be happy to share.

Good luck in your search! :D

This is code for "It is a scam". Anyone that charges you to work for them is a scam. These famous doctors are just scam artists that say they are doctors. Do not fall for this.

I was going to say the SAME THING! When they cannot or will not tell you WHAT the job is, just that it is great and how much you will make, then it is a SCAM (or MLM plan which can turn out to be the same as a scam)
