Received email with subject line stating New, free service from Career Builders. Won't go into all the details, but in using the free demo for Email Tracker Pro the email came from careeragencyplus.com in Russia. The job for Coordinator of the Recipient with the Russian Childrens Fund or rchfund.com also cam from Russia, but had been misdirected to hide its origin. Their website was impressive and looked legit, but further investigation showed they inserted their name into a real charity called Taganka Childrens Fund and even used their Tax ID and Registration#. What they will use you for is identity theft money deposited into your account, which they want you to Western Union to Russia and forward goods purchased with stolen credit cards, which they ship to your address. They keep trying new and very creative ways to con the innocent, so don't trust anyone giving some absurd reason why things can't be sent to other countries. They just need a middle person to hide their identity and crimes. |
