Post subject:  www.pastenearn.com is scam or not

Hi. I am a new member. I found this forum when I googled: "homebased data entry real or fake?"

I was about to sign up with one of them (the internet work-from-home) that require us to pay in advance to get the training package. It was the data entry/ typist job type.
But my gut told me to do some research first. Then I stumbled accross this forum.

Now I know that there are a lot more homebased-work scams than I thought before..
My question is: Are there any REAL homebased data entry job out there????
Or it's all fake.
How to recognize the REAL one?

The website that they gave me was this:
http://www.pastenearn.com
Has anyone heard about them before?

Thank you,

I have not heard of this one specifically, but here is how I think things will go with this one

You are asked to pay a fee to get a kit/package to "train" you on how to make money from home. Once you get the kit you will find that it tells you how to place ads telling others how to make money at home and trying to get them to send you the same fee for a package/kit that you will send them.

I think that this one may be called pastenearn because you will copy the text and paste it into new ads that you create to try and earn money. Many of these are also marked as "type from home" jobs . . . you are typing ads to try and get others to join.

Basically, if you have to pay to find out the details of a "job" it is a scam.
