Hi,

I am recieving persistant e-mails from a company "freelotto.com" and I do remember signing up for the lottery. The links and everything also seem to not be redirecting me anywhere else, but at the same time they lack the sound of official winnings about them. I hope I posted this in the right forum, but I'd like to ask advice on wether this is a scam, a true winning or just a marketing ploy where I am not guaranteed to be paid anything (screenshots below).





Sorry for the massive size, my resolution is rather large for taking screenshots and I wasn't sure if you would be able to see details properly if I resized (it looked dreadfully unclear in 800x640).

Check the headers in the email to see from which IP address the email originates.

I'm not quite sure what you are reffering to, I don't see an IP address listen anywhere, Yahoo does however verify it was sent from freelotto.com and the links do look real, at least as far my knowledge of right click and properties goes..

If this is Yahoo, at the very bottom of the email, in the right hand corner, there will be a link that says 'Full Headers' - click that.

I recieved the same notice. Did you find out if its a scam or not?

If you did not enter a contest and you get a notificaton that you "won" something, then it is a scam.

I did enter, but the email that was sent means, if you win you would get a letter like this one. The odds are very high. Thank you for the replay. I think I'll play this for fun like a video game and play the state lotto since its safe. They don't ask for money if you win.

I have been scamed by Freelotto, I thought getting $1,000,000 and $1,000,000 and $10,000 in one go for $1 was a bargin. Well it was an offer pay only $1 for one month. However the buggers charged me $9.99
Gosh I don't mind getting stung for $1 but for $9.99 I detest.

This company is not honest! As an Angel I will get inside C. Alison head and drive him insane. I hereby call on all Cosmic Angels to toss this C. Alison off the Earth. I am an Angel and set myself to get stung so that I am entitled to torment Alison into his self made hell.
