Should I have two different signatures? I'm a teacher and I send home to my students and families letters that I sign. Should these have different signatures then say when I write a check?

maybe type the letters with your computer and use like san serif or something as your signature instead.

Here is the answer to your question, sign your full name on your school work. On your checks have your full name, but on the signature card only sign your initials of your first and middle name and then your last name. The only people that will know how you sign your checks is the bank and whoever you write your check to.

One idea is to have a rubber stamp created and use that for your letters to your students.
