Post subject:  i-Offer Scam

First of all Thanks Krys777 for responding to my post. It turn out that many people are getting riped off on I-Offer. It looks interesting at first and wanted to get a Iphone for cheap. I have been talking to this one other buyer that also got an Iphone through the same seller as me. It turn out that this other just received a package and inside was rocks instead of an Iphone. Now I have not yet received any package at all for about a week already.

Can someone please help me out with this situation. Should I report this to the police department? How can I actually catch this thief. Please, any advise any support... I want to put an end to this mofo scheme.
Can I actually get my money back from I-offer ot PayPal. I have already files dispute but yet to get any result from either accounts. Please help me..

i am a seller on ioffer also, we have a daily event wher ethe honest sellers gather, please come in there and tell us what happen and who this person is so that we can file complaints also, if the honest sellers stick by you hopefully ioffer will listen. also we can make sure people know not to buy from this person. I've been scmmed before on ebay also and have seen some beign ripped off too, i would suggest filing a repot to the ftc and any other government agency that handles this type of thing. its notfair to us sellers on there or anyother site either that these people get away withthis. I for one am more then able to help anyone get help if i can and also want to bring these people to justice. We dont know whats happening if youdo not come and tell us. Buyers are more then welcome to come into the daily events also, let us know and we'll try to help youif we can.

Lesson learned, don't EVER buy anything like iPhones or high fraud items from ANY site. If you're willing to buy it, just buy it from the store.

It's not iOffer's fault, they're just a community for buyers and sellers to do transactions. It's up to the buyers and sellers themselves to find each other and make sure everything works out.

Every site will have scammers. Just be careful.

I have to agree . . . it is not i-offer's fault, sites like Craigslist are crawling with scammers too

Actually this is not true. eBay are currently being held accountable by luxury French brands such as Louis Vuitton and Chanel for not monitoring and policing the sale of fakes on their site. Currently there is a law in place prohibiting the sale of French cosmetics and fragrances on eBay websites until the High Court in France decides what's the next step. This means that websites can be held responsible for the content on their website.
