Phone Scam People are being warned about a phone scam. County officials say scam artists -- posing as court personnel – are calling for Social Security numbers and other personal information for jury duty. Court staffers never call a person about summons for jury duty. Those summons are sent in the mail. The only time they call is after potential jurors have sent in their summons information.
