Has anyone written to the Justice Department? I read recently that money was being made available to help victims of Identity Theft? It would seem that victims of Counterfeit check fraud would be due something as well. Also has anyone written all their lawmakers? Any responses?

Victims of identity theft have been victimized without their knowledge or involvement. The check cashers of fraudulent checks, though it was unknown to them at the time, placed themselves in a precarious position.

There seems to be a pretty clear difference in the circumstances.

That might be a deal breaker involving monetary help from the DOJ.
