paypal can reverse payments from sellers and place an unconditional freeze on your account.

one time i accepted payments from several people for items ranging from 50-300 dollars, I shipped out the item right away then paypal notified me that they used stolen funds to pay me and took them back.

the only way paypal is safe is if you are dealing with a home address and they are verified, with a phone number.

Paypal is one of the very few that have responded to my reports of attempted scamming. They actually remember and use the words "Thank You".

I was beginning to think that "Thank You" was deleted from the English language.

However, whenever and whereever I report a scam attempt and volunteer to help catch/stop/detect the scammers, my offer is ignored!

as a power seller with ebay. I would not advise doing much with paypal. they close your account with out any notice and then they tell you that it is because you make to much money. They then proceed to hold your money for 180 days. I have heard a lot of horror stories with paypal. I used to use them and had a no refund policy which by law they could not refund money. would proceed to refund customers money with out any evidence. they take money from there customers as well. so just be careful with paypal. especially since it is not a bank and it tries to act like one. from experience with the company just be careful. thanks

If you buy something, please DO NOT use PayPal, a scam in many ways itself. I was an eBay powerseller a few years back. I never have and never will give PayPal my credit card number. eBay bought them and now makes it difficult to sell without them. eBay jacked up fees and between the two, they can often make a more than the seller. I choose to not do business with either now.
